Film Producer, Entrepreneur
As a little boy, my family would go to see the animated movies that Disney had made usually a decade or two before I was born. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, Peter Pan, Fantasia, Dumbo etc. They were magical and in my opinion still hold up today. Along the way Disney invented new technologies to make his films better, smoother animation, better sound and color but the story was never over-looked. Then he got into live action films like Mary Poppins and the magic continued at another level. My sister and I would never miss The Wonderful World of Disney on Sunday nights. It was a great mix of shorts both animated and live-action as well as updates on Disneyland in California. That was a dream, to someday visit Disneyland. We eventually made that happen when he opened Disney World in Florida. Since moving to California in 1987, I have been to Disneyland many times. I loved taking my son there when he was little and reliving the excitement and awe through his young eyes.
